Glasklar has launched a new extension to its product line which is supported by a special green campaign for 2022. The lens cleaner is now being offered in a larger 100ml bottle which has four times the filling capacity of a regular bottle.
The larger bottle is designed to be an additional sales line for independent practices, with the aim of it being for home use by all the spectacle-wearing members of the patient’s family. Practices purchasing 100 larger bottles will get a complimentary display of their choice, worth £30, complete with personalised backing imagery.
In addition, Glasklar’s tree-planting initiative, which has proven popular with customers, will this year support The Queen’s Green Canopy (QGC) tree-planting project to mark her Platinum Jubilee. For every minimum practice order of 300 regular bottles, or 100 larger ones, a donation will be made to the project. Practices can also order their bottles with the QGC logo to show their support of the initiative.
Digital Marketing Manager, Ellie Jarman, commented:
“Glasklar is the original sustainable lens cleaning system which improves patient retention. It encourages the patient to revisit the practice to refill their bottle, engendering loyalty. Now it further strengthens the practice’s green credentials by showing its support for tree-planting as part of the QGC project.”
The Glasklar bottles and wall mounts are offered in a variety of colours to match practices’ colour schemes and with practice details and logos. Free cleaner concentrate is available for all stockists.
To further promote the company’s eco-credentials, a complimentary tree sapling will be given to customers placing an order at the Glasklar stand E83 at 100% Optical in April.
