Positive Impact started life as a specialist ophthalmic contract sales company in 2008, having been set up set up by two leading figures in the UK optometric sector, Nick Atkins and Maxine Green, who between them have over 60 years of combined experience in the ophthalmic sector. This business model provides companies selling into optometry and, increasingly, ophthalmology with an outsourced, turnkey, face-to-face sales and training resource on both a short and longer-term basis.
In more recent years the company has developed an additional business by utilising its team of ophthalmic professionals to distribute its own range of products. This started in 2013 with GLASKLAR, the customer loyalty marketing concept in the form of a co-branded, refillable spectacle lens cleaner that drives repeat visits for refills. Since 2015 the company has developed a range of ‘best in class’ dry eye products marketed under the Dry Eye Zone banner.
